0:00 Hey there, got a question from a user who already uses an existing uh email marketing tool like MailerLite, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, anything like that and before they dove in and moved everything over into FreedomKit they wanted to know how they could put their existing forms on.
0:17 to the FreedomKit builder to collect leads into their existing platform and not using the forms of FreedomKit. Alright, so first and foremost, I'll say come on over, it'll be totally fine.
0:28 Uhm, but obviously you do what's right for you. So in this video I'll just show you how that you can take a form that looks like this.
0:35 It's not pretty, but it's a MailerLite form that just collects emails. All the settings are handled here inside MailerLite and how we're going to put this onto a page.
0:43 So let's say for example this is an example website page we want to be able to click the button. And pop the form up and submit the form.
0:51 All right, that's what we'll do. When you get to your form on whatever builder you're using, somewhere on like one of the last pages it should give you the ability to embed your form onto your website.
1:01 That might be a JavaScript snippet, HTML code, etc. We'll do probably try to walk through both examples here. So in the case of the HTML code, just come over here, click on copy, head on over to FreedomKit, and then wherever you want the code to be, let's say I want it to be in a pop-up, I'll make this
1:18 button, if I click that button I want it to open a pop up, so I'll click on the button, scroll down to the actions, button actions will make that open pop-up.
1:26 Okay, now we'll click into the pop-up settings, which will bring that up, and we'll click on add element, now here's where we want to add the form itself, now So, the most, Most people would think to add a form, but remember, that's only if you're actually configuring the form inside of FreedomKit, that's
1:43 a FreedomKit form, what you're doing is just trying to put some HTML code in on the pop-up, so in that case, you just want HTML code, so I'll type in code, and there's the code editor, if you're not much of a searching type of person, you can scroll on down, underneath custom, you've got code there,
2:00 I'll drag that in, opens up the code editor, paste, save, let's hit save, and let's do a preview eyeball, now once this is loaded up, I'll click on the button, boom, there's my form, inside of the pop-up window there, now a couple things just to be aware of, when you do that, some of the functionality
2:27 you might expect is not going to work properly, as an example, let me come back here to the funnel settings, so this funnel as an example, It has a template up here.
2:41 so I can come over on the stats side, so it gives you awesome statistics, like how many opt-ins, how many page views, uniques, total, percentages, average cart value, all kinds of really great stuff, as you're starting to build data, now if you're using a third party email form, obviously we don't We
2:56 can't track what's going on inside MailerLite for you here, so you're not going to see your opt-ins and things like that, so I definitely would recommend uhm, you know, using the free to get forms, uh, that would be helpful, but uhm, if you don't want to, then that's totally fine, but just be aware of
3:12 some of those of the, uhm, some of the compromises. Now, the second way, if you wanted to do it, I actually haven't tried this yet, so let's give it a shot.
3:19 In this case, MailerLite's giving me like a header, uhm, so they want this code in the head, and then this code is going to be on the page itself.
3:26 So let's try to show you how to do that as well. I'll click on the header code. Every builder's going to be a little bit different how they do this, uh, but it might be similar.
3:35 So in this case, I want to go to the settings of this entire funnel and put that universal header script in.
3:40 So I'll click on settings, heading, tracking code, paste that in. And hit save. And then I want to come to this individual and this is the form itself.
3:50 Copy that. Let's go back to the page and we'll put this somewhere else just to be different. So in this case, I will remove this code.
4:02 So I'm just, I'm gonna, I'm not gonna do the pop up in this case. Now let's come on down and put it uh here.
4:09 And we'll put code. Select it. Open the code. Paste the code in there. Save. Save. And let's hit the eyeball.
4:21 So now the pop up doesn't exist since I removed that. If I scroll on down, I've got my newsletter form there as well.
4:29 Okay. So that's how you can embed things from different platforms onto your phone. FreedomKit Builder.
